Today I am back with 2 recipes! I am a pasta lover, anyone who knows me knows that I love Italian food, it is one of my all time favorite. Anyways today I am giving you my chicken alfredo and spaghetti recipes. We will start with the chicken alfredo, and to make this you will need:

  • Chicken breast, 2 per person.
  • Alfredo sauce, I recommend the one by ragu.
  • Fettuccine pasta, 1 box is good but you and use more if you’d like.
  • Salt and pepper.
  • Butter.
  • Oil.
  • Knorr Chicken Granulated Bouillon.

Let’s start cooking, so first, start by boiling water in a pot to cook your pasta, but some butter and knorr chicken granulated bouillon into your boiling water so your pasta does not stick and it gets seasoned, you can put the pasta in from the beginning or once your water is boiling, it is up to you. Then slice your chicken breast in half and then chop them into strips vertically and then chop those horizontally. Start heating your pan with some oil and season your chicken breast with salt and pepper and start cooking your chicken, once they are fully cooked, cover them up to stay warm. Your pasta is probably ready by now and all you have to do is drain the water out and you can either move your pasta to the pan where your chicken is or you leave the pasta is the pot and put the chicken in. Then add your alfredo sauce and let it heat up, keep mixing it with your food, so it all gets covered with alfredo sauce. Once everything is warm, it is ready and you can enjoy your meal!

Now let’s make spaghetti, you will need:

  • Spaghetti pasta.
  • Tomato/Marinanra sauce, I reccomend ragu traditional, or the barilla tradional or marrinaira sauce.
  • Ground beef.
  • Salt and Pepper.
  • Butter.
  • Knorr Chicken Granulated Bouillon.

The steps are pretty similar to the chicken alfredo, start by boiling your water, adding your pasta, butter, and knorr chicken granulated bouillon. Then season your ground beef with salt and pepper and start cooking it, here you do no need oil, your ground beef has enough fat to replace oil. Again, once you are done cooking it, cover it up so it stays warm, then drain the water from your pasta and mix the ground beef with the pasta, add the marinara sauce and mix it all together, and once everything is warm, you are good to go and enjoy your spaghetti.

Today I come to you with a very quick recipe, one that I actually am cooking today. My entire family has been sick within the past week and something that is easy and quick to make is just what I need to still have a meal on the table despite my illness. Today we are making a tuna salad, you will need:

  • A lettuce
  • 3 tuna cans for 2 people
  • Shell or macaroni pasta
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper
  • A can of corn
  • A can of mixed veggies
  • A big bowl
  • Salty crackers

 Let’s start this recipe,

First thing, cook your pasta with boiling water. Once it’s cooking chop up your lettuce and put it into your bowl. Open your tuna cans and drain the water that is in them, then put the tuna into your bowl, and then add your mixed veggies and corn in as well,(I do not like veggies, so I do not do this step, but my mom would so that I would eat veggies). Once everything is in the bowl set it in the freezer, once your pasta is ready, rinse it with cold water and put it in a separate bowl, also set it in the freezer. Once everything is cool, mix the pasta in with everything else and now add mayonnaise, salt, and pepper to everything and mix it well. Server it on your plate and eat it with some salty crackers, and enjoy!

Today you will learn how to make chicken chipotle, it is a very delicious meal that you will be cooking more often than you think!

This recipe is for 2 people, you will need:

  • Chicken breast I tend to cook 3 for one meal each and there will be a bit leftover for later but mainly for one person, if you want to make it for lunch a dinner, or dinner and leftovers for the next day use 4 chicken breasts.
  • Salt and pepper.
  • Chipotle.
  • Milk.
  • One can of table cream also knows as media crema.
  • One bar of cream cheese.

 First, you will want to make your chipotle sauce and to do so get your blender! Mix your bar of cream cheese, I like to use one small can of chipotle and use half of it, but it depends on how spicy you want it, so it is up to you how many chipotles you want, then add the table cream, again I use a small can, but if you but the big bottle to use on other foods, use about 1/2 cup, add then add your milk also about 1/2 cup, the milk just makes the sauce more liquidy but it is up to you how much milk you want to use, some people like a thick sauce and others like it light. once that is blended, cut your chicken breasts into cubes, season them with salt and pepper, and start cooking them. Once they are cooked just pour your sauce and you are done, yup, it’s that easy. I like to add a side of rice with corn, and the way I make this rice is: one cup of rice for 2 people and 2 cups of water for every cup of rice, add butter and Knorr chicken granulated bouillon and let it cook, once it is almost done add a can of corn into my rice and in about 10 minutes or less it should be ready, but make sure you check your rice, sometimes it requires a bit more water. I like to pour soy sauce on my food once it is plated but my husband doesn’t so it is really up to you.

Today I come with 2 recipes for this blog post, one meal, and one dessert recipe. If you  feel like you need extra nutrients in your body, or are just feeling sick/ weak, this recipe will help you fill better and give your body what it needs.”Caldo de Pollo,” which in English is a Chicken Stew/Soup, is very easy to make and you can personalize however you desire. The other recipe is one of my favorite deserts: Chocoflan!! It requires more materials and ingredients than other deserts but it to totally worth it once you are enjoying it with a cup of milk. I hope you enjoy making and eating these recipes and come back for more! Starting with the Caldo de Pollo/ Chicken Stew, you will need the following ingredients/materials:

  • Chicken drumsticks( about 2-3 drumsticks per person, depending how many meals you will have, example: lunch and dinner = 4-6 drumsticks)
  • Veggies, here you can add the veggies you like, I am not a veggie person so I only add, carrots(about 2 per person), potatoes(1-2 per person), and chickpeas(1-2 cans depending how much you like them and how much stew you are making), also known as garbanzo. My mom would add cilantro and green beans as well, but like I said it is up to you what you want to have in your stew. I like to chop y carrots round, and the potatoes in half.
  • Once cup Rice per 2 people, and tomato sauce(about 1-2 small cans, or one large can).
  • One/fourth of an  Onion, one green chili pepper, and a tomato; all chopped in strips. You can add as much of these ingredients as you look but again, I’m not really a veggie person.
  • Knorr Chicken Granulated Bouillon, Salt, and lots of Water.

Directions: First cook your chicken with onion and some salt, about 20 mins later add the chopped carrots. While that is about 1/3 cooked, start making the rice, heat up a pan with oil and pour your rice in, you are going to fry it.  Once your rice starts frying and in the chopped onion, chili pepper, and tomato. Once all of that fries together add your tomato sauce, and chicken bouillon, it will be heating up quick so once you mix it all well, pour into the stew with your chicken. Add salt, tomato sauce if you’d like to paint your water more, and also you can add a bit more chicken bouillon for extra flavor. This recipe takes about1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on your stove.

Moving on to the dessert, Choco flan is a combination of a Chocolate Cake and Flan and although that sounds easy it does not always come out right, so be very patient when you make this desert and follow all the instructions carefully. You will need:

  • 1 Chocolate cake mix, they normally need 1/2 of oil, 3 eggs, and 1&1/4 cups of milk, the box says water, but use milk.
  • 1 Can of evaporated milk.
  • 4 Eggs.
  • 2 Cups of cane sugar.
  • Vanilla extract 1 tablespoon.
  • One bar of creme cheese.
  • A blender.
  • Turkey Foil Pan.
  • Chocoflan pan.
  • Cooking Pan.
  • Butter.
  • Aluminum foil.

Let’s begging to make this delicious dessert!

You want to start off by making your cake mix, instructions are in the back of the box, but remember to use milk. Once that is done leave it in the bowl that you mixed it in, and start making your Flan. In your blender mix your one cup of cane sugar, one whole creme cheese, 4 eggs, crack them into the blender, do not beat them, vanilla extract (1 tablespoon), and blend away. Your Flan is all ready and just let is sit in your blender until we are ready to pour everything into the pan. Butter up your Chocoflan pan, just get some butter and spread it all around the pan. Get your turkey foil pan and fill it up half ways with water, put it in the over at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In your cooking pan, pour one cup of cane sugar mix it all, it will change color and become into a different consistency, do not leave this cooking by its self, you need to keep on staring it nonstop or it will burn. Once its color changes and it become more liquidy, it will soon be done. Get your Chocolflan pan and pour the melted can sugar into it, then your cake mix on top of the cane sugar, and then your Flan on top that, then cover it with aluminum foil and put into your turkey pan in the oven and let it cook for about 1 hour and 30 minutes up to 1 hour 50 minutes depending on your oven, but check it at 1 hour 30 minutes, stick a fork into it and if it come out clean it is ready. Take the Chocoflan pan out and let it cool for about 20 minutes, then flip it over so it can come out of the pan, and put it on a large plate and put it in the freezer for 3 hours. It is ok to cheat on the time as long as the Chocoflan is not hot, you are good to enjoy it.
